While on placement in Ghana, you'll have the opportunity to assist with live births, as well as assist expectant mothers in pre and postnatal care. You'll see birthing complications and surgeries in our partner hospital, and more natural births in the clinics. It is also traditional women to give birth in total silence in Ghana. Your time off can be spent swimming in natural waterfalls, glimpsing Africa’s famous wild animals in Mole Game Park, and more. Read what our students think below!
