In Iloilo, the families of patients are often responsible for washing and feeding them, leaving you to undertake more pressing duties. A favourite with past students has been working in the animal bites clinic, where you'll have the freedom to witness the treatment of rabies – just one of many unusual diseases you'll encounter. After leaving work for the day, you can experience being 'cooked alive’ in a Kawa hot bath, or spotting whales and dolphins off the coast of Cebu. Read what our students think below!
