Physiotherapy is a growing discipline in Nepal, and you’ll assist in treating patients of all ages, originating mainly from Kathmandu and nearby rural villages and towns. The Orthopaedics, Neurology and ENT departments will refer the majority of your patients to you. Common ailments include back pains, shoulder pains etc., but the department in our partner hospital also serves as a rehabilitation centre for patients after accidents, falls, and spinal injuries. In your spare time, be sure to explore Kathmandu’s festivals, marketplaces and sacred temples. Read what our students think below!
