My first surprise was how differently the hospital operated compared with hospitals in the UK.

I honestly don’t feel I can put how much I have actually learned into words but I would strongly encourage everyone to experience this if they can. I have always loved the NHS at home but never have I been truly grateful. I am going home a different person.

We have been to rafting, Chitwan safari and around Kathmandu from different temple visits and city tour were very packed and fruitful weeks as a traveller.

The second week I spent two days in OB which was amazing – seeing multiple births and C sections

My time on the Village Healthcare Experience on the island was absolutely amazing
