In Iloilo, the families of patients are often responsible for washing and feeding them, leaving you to undertake more pressing duties. A favourite with past students has been working in the animal bites clinic, where you'll have the freedom to witness the treatment of rabies – just one of many unusual diseases you'll encounter.
